Timetraveler: why didn't you warn me?

Is it two weeks until the next book club?

I don't think I am going to make it...

Some of you may find me at your office tomorrow, on the other line, knocking on your door. I have been sobbing for the last two hundred pages (maybe more). And the Spurs stopped playing long enough for Mike to notice and start cracking up at me. He was kind and offered a hug for comforting.

Wow (that's more for the book than the hug).

I love time travel.

I hope the next book won't turn me into a teary-eyed fool. Then again...

Wait-a-minute...

I distinctly remember the words: good and different. But I don't recall anything about dramatic or heart-wrenching...
